Newsletter: Oct 26, 2018,
Hi all,

Firstly, apologies for the delay in getting back to you .. but  betweeneverything it's been hard to get hold of Peter this week, and  he was keen for me to wait to pass this good bit of news as well as  updating you .... but I'll save the best until last!

1. Last Saturday (Ffos Las)
I hope everyone that was able to come along enjoyed themselves. The feedback has been great and that everybody thoroughly enjoyed. I must thank Sean and Lucy especially for securing us the little meeting place and for the little Q&A half way through the afternoon.
Hopefully, all our days will be like this, and I will try to do something for those attending if we have a chance to. Any suggestions would be great.

2. Feedback on 'Awesomedestination'.
Both Peter and Sean agree that the horse was very very backward and green. He did run on and beat 5/6 on the run-in, but it will take 3-4 runs to sort him out. Peter reckons after the 3-4 runs, he's confident he can also step him up in trip to be seen at his best. Hopefully I'll have more news on him in the next update, but he did come out of his race well.

3. Feedback on 'Get An Oscar'.
The young mare is very well, and Peter is looking for a race for her in about a fortnight's time, in a Mares Only Novice Hurdle. Again, by this time next week, we should know a lot more about her plans.

4. *** NEW HORSE ***
Peter and Karen have said that because Awesomedestination especially, is going to be a long-term project, that they were going to the sales this week to buy a horse for the Club. They have returned to the yard with Dr..Dunraven and she is immediately put into the Club. The 7 year old was bought out of the Doncaster Sales from Martin Keighley stable, and is rated 112 (chase) and 107 (hurdle). He has been placed in 7 of
his last 9 races, but Peter reckons he can work his magic on him. He is a well bred individual .... so hopefully I can relay how he is doing on the gallops within a week or so.

5. Weekend Racing
Was in the yard today, and everyone thinks its very competitive racing today and over the weekend. Dotties Dilema runs today 4.55 at Cheltenham, and gives Simon Morgan a chance to have a spin around in an Amateur rider's Chase, looked very hot according to PB. And Peter's only other runners are up in Aintree on Sunday in the opening Maiden Hurdle when he runs both Landofsmiles and Fortunes Hiding. Again this looks a very hot race.

Hope you enjoy your weekends, and I'll be in touch next week with more
news, especially on the new horse, Dr. Dunraven.

Any queries or questions, feel free to ask!
