PLAY THE ACE and LORD BRYAN make it a double day. At Aintree the remarkable Play The Ace landed his 4th win in a row over fences, and 6th of the season. The 8-y-o and Sean Bowen were both tough in the tightest of finishes, winning by a nose for owners Roddy Owen and Paul Fullagar.

6-y-o Lord Bryan, in only his second chase, made all, jumping cleanly over the Chepstow fences under James Bowen to score his first success comfortably for owners, daughter and dad Jayne & Gwyn Brace.

Always prominent, he sped clear over the last three fences defying top weight in soft ground, as the opposition floundered, for a third November success for owners Roddy Owen and Paul Fullagar.
